Universal accessibility plan

A consultation on universal accessibility is currently underway

We value your comments. They help us better understand your expectations and needs regarding accessibility in our regular system and our paratransit service. 

The comments received will help guide and identify the actions to be included in the universal accessibility plan for the next 5 years. The resulting action plan will include federal and provincial universal accessibility obligations.

The Accessible Canada Act requires the STO to also prepare a plan that proposes improvements in the following areas: 

• employment; 
• the built environment; 
• information and communication technologies; 
• communication, other than information and communication technologies; 
• the procurement of goods, services and facilities; 
• the design and delivery of programs and services; and 
• transportation.
