Transfer tickets

You need to take more than one bus to get to your destination? 

• When you first get in the bus (payment in cash or with a ticket), ask your driver for a transfer ticket; 

• The transfer ticket is valid for a 2 hours period, starting at the time of departure from the terminus of your current route; 

• Within this period, you will be able to board more than one bus, without paying again.

CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE USE OF TRANSFERS

Transfers are not transferable. It must be in good condition and legible when presented to the driver. The latest time appearing on the transfer is the time at which the transfer ceases to be valid. In the event of any dispute, transit patrons must pay the correct fare and submit any claim to the STO’s Customer Relations Service by calling 819 770-3242.

Validity on OC Transpo 

STO’s transfer tickets are accepted on OC Transpo buses and O-Train for the same 2-hour period.
