Consultation in progress
Together, let's define tomorrow's mobility
With limited resources, public transit cannot do everything, everywhere, all the time. Priorities must be established and the best compromise must be found between sometimes contrasting objectives.
However, the STO can rely on complementing active transportation, such as walking and cycling, to improve travel. We would also like to explore the deployment of a bike-sharing service.
From May 24 to July 3, 2022, the STO conducted a public consultation to understand your priorities for making public transit service more attractive for you. Your responses will help us to:
- Determine the trade-offs to be made between the different service quality standards targeted by the STO;
- Develop an intermodality strategy to facilitate the combination of modes of transportation.
The results of the consultation will be published in the fall of 2022.
