In 2019, in order to provide guidance and information related to your day-to-day travels, we installed some new variable message signs (VMS).
100 variable message signs (VMSs)
We added 100 new VMSs at the busiest stops throughout the system to the 23 already providing real time information at Rapibus stations about the next buses.
Real time information is made possible by our operating and passenger information support system (SAEIV).
20 LED display digital models replaced the ones at the Labrosse, de la Cité and de la Gappe stations. Displays can be in colour.
In addition, 80 new VMSs running on solar energy were installed at the busiest stops throughout the system. These are equipped with a button providing a voice announcement, which is a welcome addition for accessibility.
